 The electrical current dispersion of our electrodes (pictured above) provides a full uniform spread. 

This better dispersion is due to the copper threaded throughout pad. 

Greater dispersion is more tolerable and yields better clinical results because more muscle fibers are used to create contractions.

 The electrical current dispersion of other electrodes (pictured above) produces a "Hot Spot," that is created because the MicroVas' STRONG electrical current is not dispersed evenly throughout the pad, and centers around the electrode wire. 

This "Hot Spot" can cause pain if intensity too high, yielding less clinincal results.

Maintenance 

In addition to the better clinical outcomes, the Tricot nature of the pads allows for gentle water cleaning to prolong the life.  It is also important to replace the electrode on the same side of the original liner after use and reseal pouch for optimal life. You get what you pay for. Better quality yields better clinical results and therefore better patient compliance, plus longer pad life.
